Biography
House music isn’t just what I play—it’s where my story began.
Born and raised in Chicago, I came of age during the birth of a musical movement that would change dance floors around the world. Long before digital controllers, streaming playlists, and sync buttons, I learned the craft on vinyl—beatmatching by ear, reading crowds, and understanding that every great set is about creating a journey.
Growing up in Chicago gave me a front-row seat to the evolution of house music. The sounds, the clubs, the DJs, and the culture shaped not only my musical taste but also my approach behind the decks. Influenced by pioneers such as Frankie Knuckles, Farley “Jackmaster” Funk, Ron Hardy, Steve “Silk” Hurley, Fast Eddie, Marshall Jefferson, Louie Vega, and Carl Cox, I developed a deep appreciation for music that connects people through rhythm, soul, and energy.
Today, DJ Trackmaster blends authentic Chicago House with modern Deep House to create soulful, high-energy sets rooted in the sound that started it all. Every performance and every mix is built with intention—combining timeless classics, underground gems, and contemporary grooves while honoring the culture that inspired them.

For more than four decades, House Music has been part of my life. From learning on vinyl and experiencing Chicago’s legendary clubs firsthand to returning today with a renewed mission to preserve and share authentic House Music, every chapter has shaped the DJ I am today.
